In a momentous collaboration, BlueStream Health Ltd had the distinct pleasure of hosting a dedicated team from the Memorial Hospital Group in Turkey on March 22nd, 2023, at our Abuja head office. The esteemed team consisted of Prof. Dr. Betul TAVIL, renowned for her extensive expertise in Pediatric Hematology Oncology, and Dr. Musa UMAR, serving as the head of International Region for Africa.

This strategic partnership aimed to extend specialized medical services to the community, particularly focusing on Pediatric Hematology. To achieve this, BlueStream Health Ltd, in collaboration with the Memorial Hospital Group, organized a three-day event offering free medical consultations to patients in Abuja from March 22nd through 24th, 2023. Aiming to provide holistic care, up to 50 patients had the invaluable opportunity to receive a professional second opinion in person.

During the outreach, the team not only prioritized individual consultations but also took the opportunity to engage with the medical community in Abuja. Visits were made to prominent medical establishments including the National Hospital, Nisa Premier Hospital, and Zankli Hospital. The warm welcome extended by these institutions highlighted the shared commitment to advancing healthcare in the region.

Nigeria faces a significant health challenge with a high prevalence of sickle cell anemia, especially among infants. Recognizing this, our collaborative outreach endeavors hope to make a positive impact on many families by providing specialized care and expert consultations.
